The Fresno Chapter is a member of the world's leading association of administrative professionals. IAAP offers expectional and professional development through its chapters and affiliate associaitons worldwide.

The 1944 chartering of Fresno Chapter, then named the Poppy Trail Chapter in Fresno brought the National Secretaries Association (NSA) to California.  NSA was changed to Professional Secretaries International (PSI) in 1981, we changed our name to Fresno Chapter in 1986, and PSI then became International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) in 1991.  Fresno Chapter is now 18 members strong and continues to support adminstrative professionals in the Fresno and surrounding areas by offering informative speakers and other opportunities for growth in our profession.

As the first chapter in California we strive to follow the stepping stones that our charter members placed before us.
